Asgeir Alvestad promotes my seminars on his popular blog! A few days ago, I sent Asgeir some photos and some text about my seminars. Since we agreed that I´ll help him lighten his "hard work" fishing and writing blog, I´m going to take his seminars this year, if it´s possible. But, as the sales man he is, he put in much more nice words about me, that I wrote to him! Maybe it´s best like that. We Norwegians don´t like to brag about our selves, and it´s some serious bragging in this text....

Not all stories can have a happy ending. Spesially not if you´re a fisherman! This is one of these stories. Longum Lake in Arendal is famous for it´s pike fishing. It delivers from time to time 10 kg + pikes and has so much food (perch and whitefish) in it, that it can hold many big ones without any problems. The thing that is sad, is that lately it doesn´t deliver like it used to do. I have fished this lake for years, and know many experienced fishers than trolls and drifts this lake so...

About one week ago, I went out to fish with Aslak from Team Blega, and Bernt from Hooked.no. We where out to promote the Jakt & Friluft School of Trolling in Arendal and to make a short movie about trolling techniques in general. Finally after more than one month waiting, the final result is here! Me, Martin Ellingsen (Jakt & Friluft AS, Asker), Bernt Nor (Hooked.no) and Cato Bekkevold (As the King of the Big Fishes Himself) went to the inner Oslofjord to fish seatrout on the ice. We headed out to Snarøya to a secret (not so secret anymore) spot, where Cato has caught many seatrouts in the past. I have just written my first fishing tip for the biggest norwegian magazine on outdoor, hunting and fishing combined; Jakt & Fiske. From today I will be serving them with two pages of fishing tips every second month for 2013. This is my first agreement as a columnist in a printed paper - and I´m trilled. This is a serious magazine and I also have done and will do more general sport fishing articles for these guy in the future.
