For the 2014 season, I´ve made a brand new seminar for all of you all round fishermen out there! It´s a little of everything "salty", and contains something for everybody and not to much of anything. For some, it will be mostly like an inspiration night, while it will be a night of information for others. Looks like the first show of this kind, will be held in Arendal at my old job; Jakt & Friluft AS in the end of February or early in March. I´ll let you all know in advance! Need...

Asgeir Alvestad promotes my seminars on his popular blog! A few days ago, I sent Asgeir some photos and some text about my seminars. Since we agreed that I´ll help him lighten his "hard work" fishing and writing blog, I´m going to take his seminars this year, if it´s possible. But, as the sales man he is, he put in much more nice words about me, that I wrote to him! Maybe it´s best like that. We Norwegians don´t like to brag about our selves, and it´s some serious bragging in this text....

This is a short movie from one of many hopeless sea trout trips to Denmark. This trip was saved by 1.000.000 escaped rainbow trouts and some good guides from Go Fishing in Odense, Fyn. Check it out and please let everybody know what you think about the movie!

I thought that I was crazy when wading. But the crazy and well known seatrout fisherman, Claus Eriksen, just shows how dedicated and, dare I say; "stupid" we seatrout fishermen can get. I would never consider flyfishing without a wading stick in these conditions, but Claus - yes he did, and if you saw the movie, you know how bad that went! He is making a very exiting seatrout movie with Niels Vestergaard, that I believe will be mind blowing compared to all other seatrout movies out there!

Even if it cosy and nice to sit inside our warm house, reading a fishing magazine and drink a cup of coffee - or two; nothing beats fishing when the fish bites! And sometimes, that´s what a great storm does; it makes the fish go crazy.

Sometimes when there´s a powerful storm outside, I remember some of the days we have fished «the day after the storm» and had a tremendous fishing. So since yesterday was one of the windiest days for a long time, I thought I wanted to go fishing sea trout today. The season this fall/winter has been a bad one. To hot, to windy and no good reports anywhere that I´ve heard about. (Let me know if you have heard something else) So when I called Øyvind Elefsen earlier today, I had mixed...

Not all stories can have a happy ending. Spesially not if you´re a fisherman! This is one of these stories. Longum Lake in Arendal is famous for it´s pike fishing. It delivers from time to time 10 kg + pikes and has so much food (perch and whitefish) in it, that it can hold many big ones without any problems. The thing that is sad, is that lately it doesn´t deliver like it used to do. I have fished this lake for years, and know many experienced fishers than trolls and drifts this lake so...

Late summer 2009. A group of very hopeful fishers takes off at Gardemoen airport, Oslo. We have been sponsored by several Norwegian fishing and sport brands, and the goal was to get the mysterious arctic char in Svalbard summertime. The rumors was that it is impossible to catch it with fishing lures summertime. Net fishing from helicopter It started one day, in my work lunch room. A well travelled man told us that a friend of him had fished for scientific purposes after arctic char from...
